Volyn Cement reelects Zelano as Supervisory Board Chairman, Ukraine21 July 2015, Published under Cement NewsVolyn Cement has reelected Paolo Zelano to chair its supervisory board for three years, the company said in a press release. In addition, the shareholders replaced supervisory board member Plack Heiko Otto with Karl Heinz Paul Richard Kasch for three years. Ukraine: Volyn Cement net loss widens23 February 2015, Published under Cement NewsVolyn Cement reported a net loss of UAH456.7m (US$16.3m) for 2014, compared to a loss of UAH46.9m during the year before. The Dyckerhoff subsidiary's assets came in at UAH1.14bn on 1 January 2015, long-term liabilities reached UAH1.17bn and current liabilities totalled UAH155.3m. Total receivables amounted to UAH 46.9m at the end of 2014, according to the report. Volyn Cement operates an integrated cement works in Zdolbuniv, Rivne region. |
Mixed results for Ukrainian producers15 February 2013, Published under Cement NewsTwo of Ukraine’s leading cement producers have reported a mixed set of full year 2012 results. Volyn Cement ended 2012 with a net profit of UAH4.032m, according to preliminary data published by Ukrainan News. In 2011, it saw its net revenues up 50.72 per cent or UAH 219.35m to UAH651.838m, comparing with 2010.
